Beth Hoeckel.

I am so drawn to mix media and collages. These particular collages are by Beth Hoeckel from Balitmore, USA.

They are so dreamy and I love how none of the feature any facial expressions or eye's. Making them all a little bit mysterious.

All collages shown are made with found paper and archival paste (not created digitally)

See the rest of Beth's work including some photography, paintings and drawings here on her website.

This is so very cool - my grandfather used to do this back in the day as well and we'd sit around as children with him, pasting cutouts into landscapes

It is amazing that such effects are obtained through the use of mixed media!

Firstly I just want to say thank you for leaving such a great comment on my blog (about trying to DIY a shirt I've been wanting). It really inspired me to get all crafty again. I really like your blog too, it's wonderful.

I really like these collages too, and how you can't see any facial expressions. The fact that she didn't create them digitally makes them even more charming to me as well!
